About VokaKitty
VokaKitty is a vocabulary learning app for Android phones and tablets. You create your own word lists – called “pools” in VokaKitty – in any language pair you like, and share them with friends. Progress is managed in flashcard boxes using the proven Leitner system (spaced repetition): words you answer correctly move back and come up less often, mistakes return to the front. Your practice goes exactly where it is needed.
VokaKitty is offline-first: learning works without an internet connection, the data on your device sits in an encrypted database, and syncing with the server runs in the background as soon as you are back online. There are no ads, no tracking and no analytics SDKs.

Who is VokaKitty for?
For children learning alongside their parents, for school and university students, language course participants and anyone who wants to build their own vocabulary systematically. Learning works from age 4. The social features – friends, shared pools and the online challenge – are unlocked for under-16s only once a parent or guardian has given consent.
Security & privacy
VokaKitty processes only the data needed to run the service. Push notifications go through Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) with minimal content; the AI gap-fill sentences are generated by an external language-model provider, with no personal data in the prompt. Details are in the privacy policy.
