On iPhone and iPad, VokaKitty is not in the App Store – it comes as a web app. It runs in the browser, but you can put it on your home screen like an app: with its own icon, full screen and offline. You sign in with the same account as in the Android app.
Coming soon: the web app is being finished. As soon as it is online, you will find the link here. On Android, VokaKitty is already available on Google Play.
How to add VokaKitty to your home screen
- Open the web app in Safari.
- Tap the Share icon (a square with an arrow pointing up) – at the bottom on iPhone, top right on iPad.
- Choose “Add to Home Screen”. If you don’t see it, scroll down the list.
- Tap “Add”.
- From now on, start VokaKitty from the new icon on your home screen – not from Safari.
Good to know
- One account, one progress: pools, learning progress and friends are synced with the Android app.
- Offline learning works in the web app too; changes are uploaded as soon as you are back online.
- Updates arrive automatically – the new version is there the next time you open it.
- Reminders can only be shown while the web app is open.
- If you clear Safari’s website data in the iOS settings, changes that have not been synced yet are lost. Everything else comes back after you sign in again.
- The web app also runs on a computer – just open the link in your browser.
